The inaugural edition of 24 Fintech held across 3-days on 3 - 5 September with 5 concurrent breakout tracks — gave rise to a new era of fintech advancement and adoption across Saudi Arabia — which drew over 26,000+ attendees, 300 exhibitors and 200 investors.

The event is hosted by the Financial Sector Development Program, Saudi Central Bank, Capital Market Authority, Insurance Authority, and is co-organized by Fintech Saudi and Tahaluf, a joint venture between Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and the Events Investment Fund.

The country’s new financial services-focused summit and exhibition offer a stage to senior government officials and global leaders in the finance sector to address critical topics impacting transformation of the Kingdom’s finance industry.

As first time partners of Tahaluf Events, Thoth.ai made its debut at Saudi Arabia’s biggest fintech event — to create a combination of AI-powered visual summaries and portraits — displayed on a 20m-wide LED wall and 5 TV screens spread across the 38,350 metre conference hall.

1 — Display Experience

With 5 concurrent tracks — scattered across a 38,350 metre exhibition hall — Tahaluf Events wanted all 26,000+ delegates to:
(1) Walk away with a high-level purview of 31 conference sessions, and
2) Have a fun, shareable reading experience — as they watched content unfold in tandem across sessions.

2 — Data Visualisation

Instead of usually colour segmenting the different tracks — Tahaluf Events opted for a seamless visual integration across 175 hours of expert-led content —

The integration of brand colours and content-relevant assets across all tracks created a cohesive visual experience for attendees. This approach not only maintained the event's aesthetic consistency but also helped in reinforcing key themes and messages throughout the conference.

By avoiding traditional colour segmentation, Tahaluf Events ensured that the visual narrative remained unified, allowing attendees to focus on the content. With focus on content and statistics, we created and applied new content blocks to present the facts. These custom-designed content blocks not only enhanced the visual appeal but also improved the readability of complex financial information.

By incorporating infographics, charts, and iconography, we were able to present data-heavy content in a more digestible and engaging format. This approach allowed attendees to quickly grasp key points and statistics from each session, even as they moved through the bustling exhibition hall.

Our team of talented illustrators created a vast library of Generative AI assets, which were well used when generating the session summaries on-site. Leveraging on brand colours and guidelines, each template was paired with an illustration to tie the final artwork together. This became a base for our AI-powered transcription tool to work on.

3 — Live Event Workflow

By setting up devices across the breakout tracks—in this case, laptops next to the AV output—transcriptions were automatically fed into our web app.

Our designers & engineers then swiftly transformed these transcriptions into infographics within minutes!
